The Nevada Republican Central Committee has passed rule changes to ensure that participating in the party's caucus is the only way for presidential candidates to earn delegates in the state.

That caucus will be held on February 8th of next year.

According to a release from the Nevada Republican Central Committee, any candidate who opts to participate in the state-run Republican presidential primary will be ineligible to receive any delegates in the state of Nevada.

The move is designed to ensure that no Republican candidate for president registers for the state-run election.
