The Department of Justice is investigating UNLV to see if the University has violated the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
The DOJ's Civil Rights Division says it's looking into whether the University has denied equal treatment to people based on race or national origin.
According to a press release, the investigation will focus on the University's response to alleged antisemitism on campus.
UNLV says it intends to fully cooperate with the investigation, and that the school is confident it follows all federal and state laws.
