Nellis Air Force Base in southern Nevada is suspending the Trusted Traveler Program.
The change means anyone who goes to the base must have a valid visitor pass and sponsor.
Meanwhile, up north at Naval Air Station Fallon, the program was suspended a few years ago. The base requires 100% ID checks at all times for everyone entering the installation.
The Trusted Traveler Program previously allowed employees to vouch for guests traveling with them to the base - they will now have to contact the base ahead of time to get guests a visitor pass
