A man is facing multiple charges after a months-long drug sales investigation by Reno Police detectives.

Over the course of the investigation, detectives say they observed 36-year-old Jame Ivery III selling crack cocaine near his home in the area of Stoker Avenue and Stardust Street.

On July 6, Reno Police took Ivery into custody with the help of K-9 deputies.

Following the arrest, investigators served a search warrant at his home, where they recovered the following:

  • 9.67 grams of crack cocaine

  • $5,387 in U.S. currency

  • Three firearms, one of which was subsequently determined to be stolen

Ivery III was booked on the following charges:

  • Possession of a controlled substance (2 counts)

  • Possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell

  • Sale of a controlled substance

  • Ex-felon in possession of a firearm

  • Possession of a stolen firearm
