Washoe County Regional Animal Services is asking for help finding two persons of interest in an animal cruelty investigation.

Two dogs were involved in the incident, which happened in the area of Gentry Way and South Virginia Street around 1:10 p.m. on Monday, January 15th.

One of the dogs involved is described in a WCRS press release as an adult, tri-colored, German Shepherd or Husky type. A second dog appeared to be a darker colored, bully breed type dog wearing a winter coat.

Witnesses say they saw two white men, one wearing a black sweatshirt and black beanie, and the other wearing a white and black jacket in the area.

Those men were last seen walking toward the Park on Virginia apartments on South Virginia Street.

Animal Servies wants to speak with both men.

Anyone with information on their identity or their location, or who has video of the incident is asked to contact WCRAS.
