JUNE 12 EVENING UPDATE: 

Washoe County sits at 99% of current mail ballots tabulated, and the registrars office says the few remaining ballots will be processed over the weekend.

Approximately 1,100 mail ballots could not be signature verified and must be cured by the voter by 5 p.m. June 15 to be counted.

550 provisional ballots will begin being processed next week. Provisional voters that verified their information by 5 p.m. Today will have their ballot counted.

The turnout for Washoe County in the 2026 Primary Election currently sits at 30.38 percent.

The Washoe County Registrar of Voters has only 3,100 ballots left to process.

The deadline to verify information for provisional ballots is Friday at 5 p.m.

There are more than 1,200 ballots that must be signature-cured, by 5 p.m. June 15. 

ORIGINAL STORY:

More than 10,000 mail ballots still need to be processed, according to the Washoe County Registrar of Voters office.

In its latest update, the registrar says 800 mail ballots are currently being signature verified, 3,500 mail ballots are being sorted and batched and 6,200 mail ballots are awaiting scanning.

The turnout for Washoe County in the 2026 Primary Election currently sits at 26.7%.
