Both lanes of southbound traffic on Double R Blvd., from South Meadows Parkway to Professional Circle will be closed.
Traffic will be detoured during the evening and early morning hours of both Tuesday April 9th & Wednesday April 10th.
Truckee Meadows Water Authority (TMWA) is installing a new 24" water main.
The road closure is scheduled to start on both days at 9:00 p.m. until approximately 6:00 a.m. the following morning and it's expected to reopen completely on Thursday April 11th at approximately 6:00 a.m..Â
Drivers are being asked to avoid the area or observe the temporary detours and traffic control that will be occurring.Â
