Reno's first non-alcoholic bar held its grand opening.

It's called 4th Street Brewery Coffee bar.

The company says its goal is to provide a safe space for people trying to stay sober and have fun at the same time.

The place looks and feels just like a classic dive bar.

The only difference is that there is no alcohol.

Folks can play pool, board games and video games.

There's even a concert hall that had live music on its' opening night.

The owner says that he hopes to be able to host sobriety meetings at the bar as well as comedy, improv and music shows.

Many attendees say that this is something that Reno has needed for a while now.

Kids are also allowed but they have to check in with an employee to make sure that they finished their homework before they can play games.

Its normal hours are 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. but Kotler says on opening night they'll stay open as long as people are there.
