Reno Fire crews were called to a fire near westbound I-80, just west of the Spaghetti Bowl Friday afternoon.
According to RFD, a metal worker was working on a fence when he accidentally sparked the fire. He tried to put it out himself but was unsuccessful.
The fire burned about a quarter of an acre. No structures were threatened, and no injuries were reported.
