University of Nevada students have been given the all clear following an evacuation of student housing for a gas smell Friday night.
An email to students obtained by 2 News indicates that students were given the all clear to return to their residences following the evacuation of multiple housing halls on the University campus.
It remains unknown what caused the odor, but a text sent to University of Nevada students and obtained by 2 News confirmed the evacuations, and that the smell of gas was strong.
NV Energy, Police and the Reno Fire Department responded to the call.
