Registration began on Tuesday for Vacation Station Summer Camps.
The camps are open to children between the ages of six and 12 and a half.
Kids will be able to visit local parks, pools, the zoo and a trampoline park. They will also go to the movies, do arts and crafts and many other activities.
There will five locations in northern Nevada available:
- Evelyn Mount Community CenterÂ
- Plumas GymÂ
- Obrien Middle SchoolÂ
- J Wood Raw Elementary SchoolÂ
- George Westergard Elementary SchoolÂ
Vacation Station camps run from Monday, June 17 to Friday, August 9 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. every weekday, excluding major holidays.
The cost is $130 per week per child and increases by $5 starting July 1. Financial assistance is available to families in need.
