The Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the victim in a homicide near the intersection of University Way and 7th Street on January 10th.

33-year-old Felix Harry was pronounced dead at the scene, the Medical Examiner's Office said in a press release.

The manner of death was homicide from a gunshot wound to the head.

JANUARY 11TH UPDATE

Reno Police arrested a man Thursday afternoon in connection with a Wednesday afternoon homicide on East 7th Street.

42-year-old John Benson of Reno was arrested around 4 p.m. according to a release from the Reno Police Department.

He is charged with open murder with a deadly weapon.

A homicide investigation is underway after a man was found shot to death inside a car on E. 7th Street in Reno Wednesday afternoon. 

Police responded to the scene around 3:30 p.m. to find the unidentified man inside the car. 

No other details were immediately released.
