The Truckee Meadows Water Authority (TMWA) is giving customers a chance to ask questions and learn more about its proposed water rate increases.
TMWA is hosting several public meetings in November, both in-person and online.
An in-person meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, November 10, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the TMWA Main Office, 1355 Capital Blvd. in Reno.
An online meeting is scheduled for Thursday, November 12, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
TMWA will also host an additional in-person session Tuesday, November 17, and an online session Thursday, November 19. Both will run from noon to 1:30 p.m.
TMWA says the proposed rate increases are needed to maintain the reliability of the water system by allowing continued investment in critical existing infrastructure.
