Sparks Police have revealed the identity of a suspect they are seeking in a homicide that happened late Wednesday night. They have also revealed the identity of the victim.
The victim in the case has been identified as 28-year-old Sparks resident Ricardo Fabian Padilla.
The suspect has been identified as 30-year-old Sparks resident Alfredo "Freddy" Ibarra.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Ibarra for open murder with a deadly weapon.

Police are investigating a late night shooting that left one man dead in Sparks.
Police say they responded to the area of East Greenbrae Drive and Driftwood Drive, upon receiving an alert of gunfire heard by the ShotSpotter system.Â
When they arrived on scene, they found the victim, a 28-year-old man, unresponsive inside a car.
The unidentified man died on scene, just before 11:30 p.m.
Sparks detectives responded to take over the investigation.
Currently, police don't have any suspect information.
