In partnership with the Washoe County Library and Washoe County School District, Duncan/Traner hosted a "Splish-Splash Summer Library Kick-Off Event."
The event was hosted to promote their summer reading program.
The first 100 students who signed up for the program were awarded free pool passes.
In addition, Reno City Council representative Oscar Delgado will be donating passes to Wild Island and Fly High for students who complete the summer program.
