Washoe County Sheriff Darin Balaam and Executive Staff welcomed lateral transfers Cody Barnes and Catherine Heydon to the WCSO family this week.
 
Cody joins the WCSO from the San Francisco Police Department where he served full time on their SWAT Team from 2014-2023.
 
Catherine transfers in from the Reno Police Department with a legacy of her uncle having served as a Sergeant with the Washoe County Sheriff's Office.
