Washoe County School District leaders gave an update on their search for a new superintendent on Friday.

The Board decided to move forward with the process already underway. 

The Board of Trustees were expected to discuss search possible strategies including timelines and the process for gathering input from employees and the community.

Trustees may also discuss preliminary compensation and incentives including a salary range, longevity incentives, and residence requirement for the Superintendent of Schools position.

The current Superintendent Dr. Susan Enfield, leaves on February 9th.
