The Washoe County School District is holding the 2023 College Fair on Sunday November 5. It will be at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center from noon to 4 p.m.
Students and families are encouraged to stop by and learn more about opportunities from four-year colleges across the country.
More than 50 colleges and universities are expected to be there including the University of Portland, University of Wyoming, and Washington State University.
There will be free workshops from 1 to 4 p.m. covering topics like applying for financial aid, scholarships, the application process, and the Native American Fee Waiver.
WCSD high school counselors and College & Career Facilitators will also be there to answer any questions you may have.
The event is completely free and no prior registration is needed. To park for free, just let the attendant know you are going to the College Fair.
