A woman who pled guilty to voluntary manslaughter in the suffocation death of a woman on January 1st of this year has been sentenced.
Suzanne Ehlers fill serve between four and 10 years in prison and will be eligible for parole after four years.
On New Year's Day Sparks Police found 62-year-old Ehlers sitting on top of 51-year-old Kim Rohr's chest and neck at a bus stop near Glendale Avenue and Rock Boulevard.
During their investigation Ehlers told detectives that she had gotten into a fight with Rohr before sitting on her.
Rohr was taken to the hospital where she died nine days later.

A woman has pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter after suffocating a woman during a fight on January 1st of this year.
Sparks Police responded to a fight near Glendale Avenue and Rock Boulevard on New Year's Day to find 62-year-old Suzanne Ehlers sitting on top of 51-year-old Kim Rohr's chest and neck.
During the investigation Ehlers told detectives that she had gotten into a fight with the victim before Ehlers sat on her.
Rohr was taken to the hospital where she died nine days later.
Sentencing for Ehlers is set for November 20th. She faces a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison.
JANUARY 20th UPDATE:
A woman is facing a murder charge in connection with a bus stop fight in Sparks on New Year's Day.Â
Sparks Police say when they got to the bus stop on Glendale Avenue and Rock Boulevard, the suspect, Suzanne Ehlers was sitting on the chest and neck of an unresponsive Kim Rohr.
Rohr was taken to the hospital where she later died.
Ehlers was let go at the scene of the fight, but police say they have determined her to be the main aggressor.
And she is now facing murder charges.
Police are still asking for more information on what led up to the fight.
They shared this photo of someone who was at the bus stop and was allegedly a witness.
The witness did not have anything to do with the fight, police are just hoping this person can provide insight.

Sparks Police are investigating a fight that left one woman in critical condition on New Year's Day.
Police say they found the unidentified woman unresponsive at the bus stop at Glendale Avenue and Rock Blvd. around 4 p.m.Â
Officers performed CPR on the woman who was then transported to Renown Regional Medial Center.
Authorities say the second woman declined to speak to detectives about what happened and was ultimately released pending further investigation.
