World Health Organization head Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus is in eastern Congo’s Bunia, where a rare type of Ebola is spreading faster than the response. WHO director-general's visit on Saturday will include seeing a treatment center and meeting with local authorities, health workers, and affected families. He emphasized the importance of providing all necessary support to fight the disease at its epicenter. Authorities have so far reported 906 suspected cases and 223 suspected deaths. The current strain, the Bundibugyo virus, has no approved treatment or vaccine.
