The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a car crash that happened Thursday morning on Interstate 580 on the Galena Creek Bridge.
The accident happened just before 8:45am in the northbound lanes of Interstate 580 between Reno and Washoe Valley and involved a coupe and a SUV.
NHP says both drivers were injured in the accident and suffered minor to moderate injuries. They were taken to Renown Regional Medical Center for treatment.
NHP is warning drivers that they may encounter delays in that area.
