NHP Investigates Fatal Truck Rollover on US-50 in Churchill County

Nevada Highway Patrol says a Virginia man died after a truck rollover crash on US-50 in Churchill County Sunday. 

NHP says 37-year-old Jonathan Wade Bowdion was inside a 1996 Dodge Ram pickup heading west on US-50 when the truck off the roadway onto the right shoulder. When the driver tried to get back on the roadway, the truck rolled and two men, including Bowdian, where thrown from the truck. 

NHP says both men were not wearing seatbelts. 

Bowdian was transported to Renown in Reno where he was pronounced dead. 

The other man, still unidentified, remains in critical condition in Renown.

This crash is being investigated by the Northern Command East Multi-Disciplinary Investigation & Reconstruction Team (M.I.R.T.) – NHP Case #201101099.
