Nugget Casino Theft & Arson Suspects Sought |

The Sparks Police Department is looking to identify two suspects, a man and a woman, related to numerous hotel thefts and arson at the Nugget Casino.

Police say that the pair were staying at the casino on December 5th & 6th and during that time committed several thefts from various rented hotel one.

During one such theft, they say the suspects were seen leaving the guest's room with that guests' belongings. The victim confronted them and the suspects fled to a hotel room on the 12th floor. The Sparks Police Department officers arrived and found that the suspects had lit a mattress on fire inside the room before fleeing undetected.

They are believed to have left with stolen property and money, but the total loss is unknown at this time.
