UPDATE: The King County Sheriff's Department (KCSD) in Washington state says the Ford Raptor and the dog named Monkey were both recovered by them. The Sparks Police Department has no further information.

KCSD says when they located the truck, the driver became violent and this lead to an officer involved shooting (OIS).

They say Monkey became spooked from the gunshots and jumped out of the truck. Officers chased after him and he has been reunited with his owners and is safe.

KCSD says the driver died on scene during the shooting, it is not confirmed if the driver is Anthony Chilcott.

The Sparks Police Department (SPD) is advising the public to be on the lookout for a stolen charcoal gray 2018 Ford Raptor pickup truck with Washington license plates C96374L.

They say on November 22nd, they learned that 36-year-old Anthony Chilcott had possibly stolen a vehicle in Black Diamond, Washington. Chilcott, described as a white man with brown hair and blue eyes, who is 5'11 and 170 lbs, has recently made statements that he is coming to Sparks, Nevada. However, he has no known connections here.

The Raptor had a dog named Monkey (large white poodle) inside when the truck was stolen from a gas station in Black Diamond, WA. The truck has an attached black toolbox in the bed.

Chilcott’s current whereabouts are unknown. He should be considered dangerous. Do not approach. Call Police immediately if Chilcott or truck is seen or located.
