Members of the community welcomed Paralympic Cyclist and Silver Medalist Will Lachenauer back to Reno from the games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on Tuesday.Â
Lachenauer won a Silver Medal in the ParaCycling Mixed Team Relay in the 2016 games.
Lachenauer said, "I did fairly well, I was really proud to be part of a Silver Medal Relay Team. And umm...you know maybe I gotta go back for Toyko to get another medal so we'll see. It was great though."
Before Lachenauer left for Brazil he was recognized at a Reno City Council meeting, he says he couldn't have done it without the support if the biggest little city.
Lachenauer also said, "A heartfelt thanks to Reno, thank you very much."Â
