The Division of Parole and Probation needs your help finding a man who has avoided law enforcement since this summer after he was granted parole.

Back in 2015 witnesses saw 27-year-old Zane Kelly hitting a woman at a Reno park. A Good Samaritan tried to help but Kelly stabbed them with a knife.

Police later took him to jail.

"He ended up serving time here in Nevada. He was granted parole this summer and came out to us in June, tested positive for meth...his whereabouts are unknown to us,” says Sgt. Dave Callen.

Officials believe that he is in Winnemucca or in the Sparks-Reno area.

Kelly is Native American, 5’7” inches tall, 150 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

He has tattoos on both arms.

Given his extensive violent history, officials say if you see him, don't approach him.

Instead, call the Fugitive Apprehension Unit at 775-684-2644 or 911.
