Sierra Front says the Petersen Fire is still burning northwest of the Reno-Stead Airport in the Petersen Mountain Range. The BLM says it hopes to have the fire fully contained by 5 p.m. Monday.
The 120-acre fire started just before 8:30 p.m. Sunday.Â
The Petersen Fire is reportedly up in the hills and will be difficult for crews to access.
No homes or structures are threatened at this time.
There's no current estimate on when the wildfire will be fully contained. Â
