THE ROW in downtown Reno is getting ready for the big New Year's Eve celebration. Lantis Fireworks has been setting up for the big show since Friday. The 13-minute show will feature 10,000 fireworks and will be set to a playlist of 2019's top songs played on Alice 96.5.
"It's giving back to the community and giving back to all our customers who come in from all over to be here with us for the new year," said Tony Marini, VP of Operations for THE ROW. "They all go outside and everyone to enjoy a great fireworks show."
THE ROW is always a popular destination for New Year's Eve revelers. And they throw a lot of parties.
"There's parties everywhere," Marini said. "There's a party in Brew Brothers, a party in Novi, a party on the casino floor, so there's something for everybody and we have premium packages. You can buy a package where you can drink free from 9 p.m. to Midnight; not many places offer that. Come down, get in the door, get a drink and enjoy a great new year."
There are some family-friendly options as well.
"The midway at Circus Circus will be open past midnight, along with the Rink at THE ROW, so you can go to the midway, check out the food court and then go ice skating," Marini said.
The hope is to provide fun, safe options for everyone to ring in 2020.
"We just want to say be safe," Marini said. "If you need a room, we have rooms available. If you need a car, go into one of our valets. Be safe, we wish you a happy 2020!"
There will be some road closures along Virginia street through the Downtown area from 8 p.m. Tuesday until 3 a.m Wednesday.
