The Reno City Council passed two ordinances related to electric scooter use on Wednesday.
The first ordinance passed was to apply bicycle laws to electric scooters.
The second one passed will put into place local regulations that allow companies to provide dockless bicycle, and/or electric scooter share services, as long as it's with the explicit agreement of the City of Reno.
