UPDATE:

Reno Fire Department (RFD) says on Sunday crews were called to a hazmat response on 2360 Valley Road.

Upon arriving, RFD says one person had chemical burns on their hands. Crews treated the person on scene for minor injuries and released the person. 

Officials say after further investigation, the situation was not a hazmat situation. 

RFD says Valley Road was closed for about an hour, but is now open

ORIGINAL STORY:

Reno Fire Department, Reno Police Department, and hazmat are on scene on Valley Road.

Because of this, Valley Road is closed at Timber Way. There is no estimation when the road will reopen.
