For the first time ever, the Reno Open Studios (ROS) will participate at the 23rd annual Artown Festival.
Saturday the ROS artists and sold, and demonstrated their unique art at the festival. The family friendly event was held at the McKinley Arts and Culture Center on 925 Riverside Dr in Reno.
Food trucks even participated at the event.
This event was a precursor for what ROS has to offer the people of Reno on the first week of October.
The ROS opened in 2009 to provide an area for Northwestern Nevada to enjoy art from people in our area. They open their studios every year on the first weekend of October to highlight their art and let others enjoy it as well. This year, the annual event will be held on October 6th through the 8th.
