19-year-old Carrasco, Olegario “Oleg” Jr. has been arrested for attempted murder after shooting another person multiple times during a fight.
The Reno Police Department says On August 16, 2020 at 12:30 a.m. the fight occurred in a YOUnion apartment at 2780 Enterprise Rd.
They say during the fight Oleg shot an unarmed victim multiple times in the torso at close range.
Reno Police say officers and detectives assigned to the Regional Gang Unit recognized Oleg from a previous armed robbery investigation.
They conducted follow-up interviews with the victims and witnesses and reviewed surveillance video.
Reno Police say on Thursday, September 10 at 8:07 a.m., members of the Regional Gang Unit, RCSU, and ROP Detectives located and arrested Oleg.
