The Reno-Tahoe International Airport says its attorney is investigating after protesters greeted Senator Elizabeth Warren in the terminal Wednesday without a permit.

The Nevada Republican Party posted the below video and said that Nevadans were letting Warren know they were fighting back an impeachment attempt by Democrats.

But the airport says their police weren't given notice about the gather ahead of time and the protesters didn't follow airport policies.

Here is the Reno-Tahoe International Airport's full statement regarding the protests.

As we reported, protesters were also outside Warren's campaign event in Carson City.

We've reached out to the Republican Party and they called the airport's response "absurd" and said they won't comment it until the airport apologizes to former Senator Dean Heller about a 2018 incident.

Back then Democrats posted a video of protesters greeting Heller with signs and asking him to reject money from President Trump.

More than 1,500 people attended the Carson City town hall and many people that showed up say there were there to learn more about the candidate.

However, there were also people there to show their support for President Trump, both outside the building and one very vocal person inside.

At one point, Warren’s town hall was interrupted by a man who chanted “Trump 2020" while she was speaking. Protesters stood outside of the building. They say they were there to show that there are locals who support the President. Protesters also expressed that they disagree with Warren's policies, like a policy on taxing the wealth. This was also a subject the senator touched on.

In a press conference after the town hall Senator Warren said, "A majority, not just Democrats, a majority of Independents get that the people at the top are not paying a fair share. This is our chance in 2020 just to get some balance back in the system, so that opportunity doesn't just go to a handful at the top. Opportunity is for all of us. That's America's best value."

The senator talked about a number of topics her supporters were excited to hear about like affordable tuition, health care, and climate change.
