Reno's Riverwalk District is hosting a free trick-or-treating event Saturday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The 9th annual Riverwalk Merchants Halloween Hollow event is a family fun event and children all of ages can participate.
The event will begin in the Reno City Plaza with an official Halloween proclamation at 6:45 p.m. The City of Reno has partnered with the event to offer live music and entertainment.
Kids can pick up their "treasure map" at merchant candy stations. Maps will be available at the main Riverwalk booth the day of the event.
