UPDATE: Caltrans says that SR 182 and SR 338 are back open after flooding caused sections of the roads to temporarily close.
Original Story: NDOT says SR 338 is closed in both directions from the California state line to approximately Lyon County mile post 20 due to multiple mudslides. It says a crew is on scene cleaning up the mess. There's no word on when the roadway will reopen.
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) reports State Route 182 is closed from U.S. Highway 395 to Stateline to prevent drivers from traveling to Nevada State Route 338 as well. There is no estimated time for reopen.
