Eldorado to Donate Show Proceeds to The Salvation Army

The Salvation Army is collecting backpacks and other school supplies for children in need living in Carson City, Douglas County, and Lyon County. 

As their Back to School Campaign is wrapping up, they say that their need has increased and they are urgently seeking more donations.

Suggested donations include: back packs,pencils, pens, scissors, pencil sharpeners, pencil pouches, paper, note books, composite books, glue sticks, crayons, markers, highlighters, etc. 

Most of the drop off sites have already been collected so The Salvation Army is asking for backpacks, school supplies, and monetary donations to be dropped off at their 661 Colorado St, Carson City 89701 location. They say that you can also arrange for a donation to be picked up by calling the office at 775-887-9120.
