Fire crews are responding to a fire near Pinebluff Trail in the Caughlin Ranch area. 

This isn't uncommon for this time of year, which is the time bears come down from higher elevations in search of increasing their calorie intake. 

Residents in Caughlin Ranch on Monday noticed water spilling onto Village Green Parkway and Pinebluff Trail and when crews got to the scene, they found a small hole in the road caused by a leak in a water valve underneath.

The Reno Firefighters Association, IAFF Local 731 and the City of Reno agree to partially staff closed fire stations with medical services in the Skyline/Caughlin Ranch, and Somersett neighborhoods.

Fire crews say the 278-acre Hawken Fire in Caughlin Ranch is now 100% contained.
