Jackson Chastain We continue to track a few stray thunderstorms and showers in northern Washoe County and far northern Nevada. We have managed to stay sunny in Reno which has led to highs in the upper 80s Saturday afternoon. We’ll once again cool into the mid to upper 50s in what will be another cooler start Sunday. Building high pressure next week will bring highs close to 100 Tuesday and Wednesday. The record on Tuesday at the airport is 99 degrees which gives us a shot at matching that record. Overall the week in general will be uneventful, although a trough move in Thursday and an upper low Saturday to cool us into the upper 80s by Saturday. So far it looks like we’ll stay away from the rain, with showers staying well to the north near Oregon.
