At a special meeting the Reno City Council on February 15, 2019, Council unanimously approved to appoint Devon Reese to the At-Large vacancy. Reese was immediately sworn into office by Judge Gene Drakulich.

UPDATE: The Reno City Council chose four finalists that could fill David Bobzien's former at-large council seat Wednesday.
The ReEnergize Reno program aims to improve energy efficiency of buildings 20 percent by 2025. That also includes building and renovating affordable housing. The City of Reno is offering a new incentive for those who purchase a Reno license plate in 2016: free Friday parking. Any vehicle displaying the Reno plate will get free Friday parking in the City of Reno through December 31, 2017.
