It's been a smoky month, with the weather pattern playing a big role. Not only because of the lack of rain, but wind direction and speed plays a big role as well.

It's been a dry water year for much of the west coast. The smoky skies will stay here through at least the weekend.

Kirkwood Mountain has wind gust over 200 miles per hour.

Skies will stay hazy Sunday because of blowing dust. Winds will also be strong.

Luckily it won’t rain on the Nevada Day parade this year but the weather will take a drastic turn Sunday.
