The Reno Fire Department says crews responded to a fire at a building in the 700 block of West Fifth Street on Thursday evening.

Authorities say no injuries were reported after a fire started inside a boarded-up home on 7th Street near Sutro Street in Reno early Friday morning.  

An investigation is underway after a fire started behind the Ashley Furniture Store near Moana Lane early Thursday morning. 

Authorities in Dallas are trying to locate a homeless person who might have had contact with the lone Ebola patient diagnosed in the U.S. Dallas County Judge Clay Lewis Jenkins didn't identify the person, whom he described as a "low-risk individual identified as a contact."

Reno Police say a box left by a homeless person prompted authorities to call in the Explosive Ordnance Disposal team to investigate.
