Hot August Nights’ executive director resigns; Wife's marketing agency to end partnership, organization plans for new leadership.

Hot August Nights wrapped up its 2025 festivities with a parade through downtown and its awards ceremony at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center.

The fundraising event brought in crowds of over 300 people. The proceeds go towards researching a cure for prostate cancer.

With Hot August Nights fast approaching, the City of Sparks has revealed road closures that will be in place during the event, as well as parking and transit info.

During Hot August Nights, RTC will be providing free rides on certain routes and transit services to help avoid traffic and parking issues. 

Sparks says the following road closures will be in place through Monday, August 12 at 6 a.m.
