Drivers will continue to see road closures near the Sparks and Baring intersection while crews continue their work on the Sparks Boulevard project.

The crashes are still under investigation, but likely the result of either human error or brake failure.

A pedestrian has died after being hit by a semi-truck on Wells Avenue on Friday afternoon.

Some drivers might have already noticed more delays on Friday night around the Mill Street and Kietzke Lane intersection. It will be closed to through traffic until 7 a.m. on Sunday.

Drivers see expanded work and lane changes ahead as U.S. 50 repaving continues at Lake Tahoe.

The intersection will be closed to traffic Monday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Veterans Parkway roundabout project finished; upgrades include a new lane, better lighting, and safer crossings.

The project will include improvements on Mill Street from 300 feet west of Kietzke Lane to Terminal Way. 

The $86 million project is expected to be fully completed by 2027. 

Sparks Police say the intersection is now back open.
