A new report details the prevalence of domestic violence deaths in Nevada. According to the Nevada Network Against Domestic Violence, there were 43 deaths from domestic violence including both perpetrators and victims last year.

A funeral service for fallen Carson City Deputy Carl Howell will be held Thursday morning in Reno. Howell was killed early Saturday morning while responding to a domestic violence call.
