The Washoe County Air Quality Management Division reports that air quality in Washoe County has reached unhealthy levels for sensitive groups on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Washoe County Health District the Reno/Sparks air quality is in the unhealthy range.

At approximately 10 a.m. on Wednesday, February 1, the Washoe County Air Quality Management Division sent out an alert saying air quality had reached 'unhealthy for sensitive groups'.
The air quality has now reached Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups Active children and adults, and people with lung disease, such as asthma, should reduce prolonged or heavy outdoor exertion.

Due to improvement in air quality overnight, the Red Burn Code has been rescinded and the Yellow Burn Code is now in effect.
Just before 8:00 a.m. Friday the Washoe County Air Quality Management Division sent out an alert saying air quality had reached 'unhealthy' levels.
