Burn Code Rescinded From Yellow to Green

The Washoe County Health District and Air Quality Management Division are issuing a Green Burn code. Previously, the burn code was yellow meaning it was voluntary to reduce burning. Now it is Green, meaning it is okay for residents of Washoe County to use fireplaces, wood stoves, or pellet stoves.
