Nearly 200 young rodeo athletes will gather in Fallon this Labor Day weekend as a long-standing tradition celebrates 55 years.

Families can experience cowboy life, meet Nevada’s founding father, and learn about prison history during three free events next week. 

Riders and cattle completed a more than 60-mile trek into northeast Reno Thursday, marking the official start of the Reno Rodeo.

The Rafter 3C Arena in Fallon has recently undergone renovations, which will be on full display as the Double Down horseback event comes to town.

This year's Wildest, Richest Rodeo in the West starts June 19th. 

The jackpot will be held at the Carson City Fairgrounds on Saturday, May 10, 2025.

The Reno Rodeo isn't until June - but it's already time for all the cowboys and cowgirls out there to start thinking about mutton bustin'!
