The 52nd Annual Reno Air Races are in the books and a former astronaut is the newest winner. Robert 'Hoot' Gibson took the top honors in the unlimited class this year. The 68-year old is a former American naval officer and aviator, aeronautical engineer and a retired NASA astronaut. He races regularly at the Reno Air Races. The Reno Air Races are still months away, but local first responders gathered Tuesday to make a plan in case of an emergency at this year's event.
