Nevada senior Sharae Zheng placed third in the 1-meter springboard at the NCAA Championships on Thursday. Her third place finish gave the Wolf Pack 16 points on the day, which was more than any other Mountain West school. Zheng began the day by finishing fifth in the preliminaries rounds with a score of 308.25 and improved her standing by two spots in the A final with her third place finish. 

Nevada senior Sharae Zheng won the 3-meter springboard at the NCAA Zone E Championships on Tuesday and has now qualified for two events at the NCAA Championships. On Monday, Zheng came out on top of the 1-meter springboard, along with junior Sio I Lei who placed fifth in the event. 

Coming off of a dual win over UNLV, senior Sharae Zheng has been named Mountain West Diver of the Week.

Following the conclusion of the opening day of the 2017 Mountain West Championships, the Nevada swimming and diving team sits in second place, just two points behind Boise State.

After sweeping both diving competitions in last week’s meet, junior diver Sharae Zheng has won Mountain West Diver of the Week honors for events through Nov. 6, the conference announced Tuesday morning. 

Sophomore Sharae Zheng cemented her status in Wolf Pack lore, winning a second national championship in as many days after sweeping the springboard events at the NCAA Championships.

Sophomore diver Sharae Zheng made history on Thursday, winning the 1-meter springboard title at the NCAA Championships to become the first national champion in Nevada’s diving history.

Sophomore Sharae Zheng won the 3-meter springboard title and senior Krysta Palmer placed third on Tuesday at the NCAA Zone E Diving Regional in the NAU Aquatics and Tennis Center.
