Highs will return to the upper 80s in Sierra Communities and upper 90s with potential to hit triple digits in Nevada Valleys Wednesday afternoon. Heat Advisories continue in Pershing and Churchill Counties until Friday morning. Seek the shade to cool off and staying hydrated will be the best thing you can do with the warm conditions. Showers return to Nevada Thursday afternoon with a slight chance for showers Thursday before increasing on Friday. With showers on Friday some of those could produce lightning strikes leaving Fire Weather Watches in store for critical fire weather Friday.
